Nitin and ileana in Rechipo Telugu Movie Review:
Story:
Shiva (Nitin) is good-hearted thief - sort of robin wood. He robs the black money from the rich and donates to the charity organizations. Police seize Rs 500 Crore belongs to a Dubai based Mafia leader which incidentally lands into home-minister (Ahuti Prasad). Shiva robs the money from home minister’s house and runs away from the place. He accidentally meets a naughty girl Krishna Veni and follows her to a marriage. At the wedding place, they tease each other and soon romance blossoms between them. Krishnaveni incidentally happens to be daughter of the home minister. When it is revealed that Shiva is a thief, Krishnaveni hates him but the mafia leader in Dubai soon kidnaps her. Now Shiva takes the job of bringing her back from Dubai.

Movie Analysis:
Painfully long and unbearably tedious, Rechchipo is a predictable fare with absolutely nothing new to speak. One of the badly made movies in the recent times! Except the fact that Tollywood number one heroine Ileana looks gorgeous, the film has not a single positive point to talk about. Silly comedy, even clichéd scenes, unrelated action drama and poor technical values, the film is wasted effort. Looks like director Parachuri Murali has taken the producers for a ride. The money spent on Dubai episode – which itself looks like made in some desert in India, is complete waste. Director Parachuri Murali who has given watchable action drama like Andhrudu and sentiment drama Pedababu has lost complete grip on the script (in fact there is no proper story).
It is high time that hero Nitin either take a break or think well before signing a film. He is doing inane movies one after the other. When was the last time he delivered a hit or for that matter a decent flick? One wonders how could he pick such bad scripts in a row? Doesn’t he learn from failures?

Artist and Other Performances:
One really cannot fault Nitin’s efforts as actor. He does his best and as usually focused on dances. But he is letdown by his director. From Jalsa onwards, Ileana has been looking fantastic and gorgeous. She is the only saving grace with her great looks and sex appeal. Her costumes (designed by her mother) are also perfect. The guy who played the villain role is good. Rest of the cast - Bhanu Chander, Rama Prabha, Venumadhav, M S Narayana and others - are okay. Sunil’s comedy doesn’t evoke laughter.
Technically too the film is a letdown. Surender Reddy’s cinematography is substandard. Manisharma’s music is passé. Producers seem to have given complete freedom to the director to spend lavishly but the director has selected a mediocre storyline and his narration is also big letdown. Ramesh – Gopi’s dialogues are also pretty ordinary.

Final View:
Rechchipo tests the patience of the audiences. It is unbearably tedious and a complete predictable film. Even Ileana shakes also not saved this film.

At Miss Universe 2000 in Cyprus, Dutta was the clear favourite ahead of fierce competition from Venezuela, Spain, USA and Canada. Her finalist interview score was the highest individual score in any category in the history of the Miss Universe contest, as her perfect interview saw a majority of the judges giving her the maximum 9.99 mark. After her final question, in which Dutta delivered a passionate defense of the Miss Universe contest (and other beauty pageants), she became the second Indian Miss Universe.
In the same year, Priyanka Chopra and Dia Mirza won their respective Miss World and Miss Asia Pacific titles which gave India a rare triple victory in the world of beauty pageants.

Gossips of Lara Dutta :
Apparently Lara is now seeing Dino Morea, and they make an uneasy threesome. But Lara has not made any such affairs official. On her life with Dorjee she says,” Yes, we were together for a very long time,” admits Lara, “And were each other’s strength for most of the ‘growing up’ years of our life. We’ve seen a lot together, but things happen, and we have to move on. There are some people who will always be special.”
When asked whether she has started to be in love again, she said,” I’ll take each day as it comes. I’m not looking at getting into another relationship just yet. I think for me right now, life is at a stage where I’m getting good work. I realize that I’ve got a limited number of years and I really want to give it everything I’ve got. I haven’t been single in a really long time. I’m re-learning being single all over again, and loving it. some Rumors are she had been dated with indian tennis star Mahesh bupathi. but Denied that says they are just good friends.
She is enjoying being single again and her home life is occupied with her dogs, her sisters and her friends. As for Dorjee, a link between one’s ex and one’s best friend can be heart breaking but Dorjee is quite ignorant about it and declares, that he has “no personal takes on them.

RAM IN AND AS GANESH TELUGU MOVIE REVIEW

Story:
Ganesh (Ram) is an orphan who always pitches in to help needy people. In one such strange situation, he is forced to act with Divya (Kajal Agarwal) that he loves her. But later on, she comes to know that he is loving her to fulfill some other ambition and his love is an act of fabrication. By then, Ganesh genuinely falls in love with her. The rest of the story is all about how he convinces her about his true love.

Artists Performance
The 26 kids who acted in this movie are wonderful. They performed naturally and added fun and purity to the scenes they are involved with. Ram is pretty good as Ganesh in this movie. He has shown lots of maturity in performance and dialogue modulation towards the end of the movie. His dances in Ganesa song are interesting. Kajal Agarwal is nice. Brahmanandam's comedy, though routine gives relief. Poonam Kaur is adequate as the friend of heroine. Asish Vidyardhi alright as a comedy villain. Rohini Hattangadi did a brief role..

Technical departments
Story - screenplay - directon: Story of the movie is wafer thin. A story like these should be narrated with tight screenplay and gripping emotions. The debutant director couldn't come up with a gripping screenplay to narrate the story in an interesting manner. However, the kids backdrop has helped in keeping the movie going. The episodes involving kids are a sheer delight to watch. The direction should have been better. Films like these will be interesting only if director projects the love between lead couple in a tender yet interesting way. Though it may look different on paper, the director couldn't translate those sweet nothings onto the screen in a convincing way. I didn't expect a couple of insensible scenes (hero cutting his wrist to prove his love and kids being ill-treated in climax) from a production house of Sravanthi.

Other departments:

what happend to Micky J Meyer's . he is the one that gaved good music for some tollywood hit film. But in this film his music was too bad and worst.Micky J Meyer's songs definitely sound good on stereo. However, they are not captured efficiently onto the screen. The chalo song featuring kids is picturized well. The 'rajkumrai' song which sounds fabulous is misplaced in the movie. Background score is not good. The dialogues written by Abburi Ravi in key scenes leading to climax are good. Cinematography should have been better. Fights by Peter Heins are adequate but it looks to much for the physic of Ram , may be Ram himself thinks he is another Pawan Kalyan of Tollywood. Editing should have been crisper as there is lots of lag in the second half of the movie.

Analysis:

First half of the movie is adequate. The second half lacks pace. The climax should have been shot interestingly. Plus points of the movie are Ram and kids. Negative points are screenplay and slow second half. Stories of this type needs tremendous creativity and presentation ability from director. The runtime of the movie is around 3 hours and it seriously needs some trimming in the second half. The lifeline of the movie is the kids episode. Ganesh is not the movie for morning show crowds. It is a clean movie aimed at family crowds. The fate of the movie will solely depend on how family crowds receive it.

Final View:

Ganesh is one of the mega serial type film, the film is to much stretched that makes common audion irritated and bored may be the canteen owners will like the film bcoz his business was developed ina grat way due to this film duration. First half has filled with childish entertainment but second half misses the track. Should have been trimmed to make it tighter in the second half (2.50 hrs runtime). On the whole, it is strictly flop fare may the family viewers rescue the film.

DIL BOLE HADIPPA MOVIE REVIEW

Director: Anurag Singh
Cast: Rani Mukherjee, Shahid Kapoor
Releasing date: 18 sep 2009
Rating:

DIL BOLE HADIPPA HINDI MOVIE REVIEW:

Story and Movie Analysis:
Dil Bole Hadippa is a celebration of the never-say-die spirit of Yash Raj Films. For years they have epitomized bhartiya sanskriti amidst Punjab’s sarso-de-khet which they continue to do even today without much advancement. This time they seek faint inspiration from the Hollywood flick She’s The Man (2006), replace the soccer with cricket, liberally regurgitate plotlines from their recent library of films and deck it up with patriotic sentiments.
The scene opens in a Veer-Zaara village verandah where Veera (Rani Mukherjee) scores six sixers in an over and is still in the Bunty aur Babli hangover. Faking fractured English, she attempts to be as bright and bubbly as her pink patiala suits.
Every Independence Day, the village participates in an Indo-Pak cricket match contesting players from across the boundary. After losing consecutively for years, the team head (Anupam Kher) calls upon his son Rohan (Shahid Kapoor) who plays county cricket in London. Rohan decides to form a new team and announces auditions.
The script resorts to the moustache mantra from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi when Veera intends to gain a new identity. She doesn’t just switches character but also gender, posing as a boy to get entry into the cricket team. Nobody has second thoughts about her voluptuous form or vocal chords. It’s another story altogether that it takes the hero less than a second to distinguish Veer from Veera when her coloured lens falls off in the climax. What an eye for detailing!
Chak De India is revisited as Rohan coaches the village team for victory. Amidst guided tours in sarso ke khet and Punjab da dhaba , the NRI Rohan falls in love with the desi Veera. Then there are those obligatory and artificial tributes to their own DDLJ and its predecessor Hum Aapke Hai Kaun , something the Chopras have been repeating in their recent releases. The screenplay also makes way for Baisakhi bhangra and culture lectures until its time for the final match.
Do not expect a Lagaan connect through the cricket as the innings are edited in fast-forward mode. Both, the match and its outcome are straightforwardly predictable. Despite all the conventionalism, trust the climax to have an emotional touch with a lump-in-throat effect in true-blue YRF tradition. Beyond that there is a speech on woman empowerment which also suggests females should play cricket alongside Sachin Tendulkar for the national team. Talk about coed cricket?
The writing by Jaya-Aparajita is predictable from the word Hadippa – the first sound in the film. Sudeep Chatterjee’s cinematography is soothing and Vaibhavi Merchant’s choreography is vivacious. Shahid grooves effortlessly in the title track and Rani oozes enthusiasm in Bhangra Bistar .
Rani Mukherjee comes up with a spirited performance but her mock sob-whine-whimper do not amuse anymore. Also after a point you dislike visualizing the charming actress as the moustached male player. Shahid Kapoor at no point is overshadowed by the immense screen presence of Rani Mukherjee. He is earnest and esp. impressive in his climax outburst in the dressing room. Anupam Kher reprises the regular father he has played in several Yash Raj films. Surprisingly Rakhi Sawant doesn’t go overboard.

Final View:
Dil Bole Hadippa comes as another feel ‘good’ film from the Yash Raj banner but off late audiences have upgraded to ‘better’ narratives.

WANTED MOVIE REVIEW

Director: Prabhu Dheva
Cast: Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia, Mahesh Manjrekar, Prakash Raj
Producer: Bonny kapoor.
Rating:

WANTED HINDI MOVIE REVIEW:

Story and Movie Analysis:
It is a remake from telugu hero mahesh babu pokiri film. It gaved big star dome for mahesh in telugu. But it was not that so good for salmann in bollywood. The term masala movie must have been minted especially for films like Wanted that are formulated using all cinematic ingredients of song-n-dance, drama, action, romance, revenge and then spiced up like strong South sambhar. For a change this sambhar tastes scrumptious since the pepperiness is in proportion. The story is not groundbreaking but isn’t mindless either, the humour is boisterous but not slapstick, the action is exaggerated but is slickly convincing nonetheless and the protagonist is projected not merely as an actor but a hero.
Radhe (Salman Khan) is a hardcore gangster who calmly kills anyone for money. He reels around aimlessly (with some real life friends) and by the end of first reel, falls in love at first sight with Janhvi (Ayesha Takia). A lecherous cop Talpade (Mahesh Manjrekar) has an eye on Janhvi. Meanwhile Radhe’s funny boss Gani (Prakash Raj) who operates from abroad comes down to India. Then there is a customary conspiracy to assassinate the minister at a public event. But before that can transpire the bad man is butchered.
So what’s new you ask? The story by Puri Jagannath (who also directed the original Telugu film Pokhiri) is the same old recipe. It’s the garnishing that adds to the appeal. The pacing is as swift as Prabhudheva’s dance movements, giving you no time to ponder over the proceedings. The heavy-duty editing and Vijayan Master’s hard-hitting action sequences keep you riveted.
Time and again the script finds excuses to initiate another combat and while you initially expect the amplified action to backfire, it actually turns out to be the highlight. Each stunt sequence is modishly maneuvered and is of the influential variety – one that incites even the meekest of viewer to kick some butt after the show is over. With every kick and punch, Salman Khan delivers and looks cool, confident and convincing
Prabhudheva’s passion for choreography comes live onscreen as four dance directors (Raju Sundaram, Vaibhavi Merchant, Rajiv Surti) make Salman groove like never before. Unfortunately the vibrant choreography isn’t complemented with equally compelling music by Sajid-Wajid. Also too many songs interrupt the flow of the film, some of which could have been easily prevented.
The romance track running parallel to the primary plot has its charming moments but could have been shorter esp. in the second half. Shiraz Ahmed balances the forceful action by interlacing some light-hearted lines and scenes in the screenplay. Everyone from the comedian, hero and even the villain contribute to humour in their own way through decent comic timings.
What actually gets the graph of the film down is that after glorifying the hero throughout, the climax makes him vulnerable on usual pretexts of father’s death or friend’s kidnap. One can foresee a twist reserved for the pre-climax much before it actually materializes. And once that is formally revealed, the film treads towards a mundane climax where the hero is set to terminate the villain.
Nevertheless, Salman Khan alone makes Wanted a worth watch. He is fresh, fit and in form, looking smashingly super-cool like never before. Despite the hardcore action image, his face exudes an innocent charm. He dances with new vigour, kicks serious butt and kills ruthlessly. Ayesha Takia is cute and charming. Mahesh Manjrekar as the lusting and spiteful cop makes you hate every bit of his character. Prakash Raj is funny as international don Gani yet his character is not ridiculed down to a caricature. Vinod Khanna doesn’t get scope beyond one sequence.
The good part of Wanted is that it isn’t pretentious and delivers what it promises – time-pass popcorn entertainment.

Final View:
There are times when you care a damn about nutrition and want to indulge in some lip-smacking junk food. Wanted is just that recipe. Never mind some extra calories! Try watching it in a single screen – the cheese melts faster there.

Eeswar alerts his team and makes arrangement to release the terrorists and at the same time he tries to trace the stranger. The rest of the story is all about whether Eeswar finds who the stranger is or not.

Artists Performance
Kamal Hassan: Kamal Hassan has done a brilliant job as a stranger in the movie. However, the characterization in Telugu/Tamil version is too strong for Kamal. Kamal behaves as if he has upper hand over the commissioner right from the first scene. With that characterization, the sympathy we have for the common man character doesn't get created. Another point to note here is that the strengths and ability of the stranger is slowly revealed over a period of time till the interval in 'A Wednesday' and it adds up to thrill. Where as in Eenadu, they tried to show Kamal Hassan as a stud right in the first scene where he prepares a RDX bomb.
Venkatesh: Venkatesh is nice as a police commissioner and it is a welcome decision for him to shed his star image to do a different character. Except for a couple of small glitches in dialogue delivery, Venkatesh did well. Again the comparison with the original character is inevitable here. In the original Anupam Kher played the role of an officer who was almost on the verge of his retirement when he gets a call from a stranger. Where as Venkatesh's character in this movie is a middle aged. How an old man deals with such an unprecedented crisis situation is much more fascinating than a young guy dealing with it.
Others: Anuja Iyer is alright as a TV journalist. Gowtami seems to have dubbed her voice. Ganesh Venkatraman (who did the role of Trisha's boyfriend in Aakasamantha movie) did the role of a hot-blooded cop and he is alright. Dr. Bharat Reddy is good as a sincere cop. Lakshmi did an important role of chief secretary to the CM. Poonam Kaur did a small role.

Technical departments
Story - screenplay - directon: Story of the movie has the right blend of thrilling elements coupled with nice message. Screenplay of the movie is adequate. Direction of Chakri Toleti is good in parts. However, the characterizations should have been much better. As I mentioned in artists performances, the director made Kamal Hassan's character too strong. A feeble guy like Nasiruddin Shah achieving such a huge task of planting bombs and taking the Government for ride was thrilling. Where as a person like Kamal Hassan who is shown as a great bomb assembler in the first scene doesn't give the same kind of effect. The characterization of hot-blooded cop played by Ganesh Venkatraghavan doesn't have the required precision. The character of Lakshmi is also little confusing. The conflict and friction between Venkatesh and Lakshmi looks too personal (like in between family members or friends) than between two top brass officials.
I had reviewed A Wednesday right on the day it was released and I enlisted seven scenes I loved in that movie. I am going to compare how those seven scenes fared in 'Eenadu'
A Wednesday1. The scene in which police commissioner gets the CM to give all powers to him in order to negotiate with the stranger. 2. The rowdy pissing in pants and telling the truth the moment he sees Arif Khan. 3. The scene in which director dupes us into thinking that Arif Khan catches hold of the stranger on the top of the under-construction building (a similar screenplay technique was used in ‘The silence of the Lambs’ where the director dupes us to think that heroine surrounds the house of the killer) 4. The way the stranger sips coffee and eats sandwich while negotiating with the police force. 5. The final twist when terrorists are taken to Juhu air-strip. 6. The scene in which the stranger reveals the cause behind his act. 7. The terrific encounter between the two in the last scene
Eenadu1. The characterization of Lakshmi diluted the required effect.2. Arif Khan's character is not properly etched and this scene in the movie is ineffective.3. This scene is also not effectively handled.4. This scene is alright.5. This is nice.6. The reason given by stranger is appears out of place. This movie is about terrorism and the reason given by stranger is irrelevant to terrorism.7. This is good. Finally I saw both Kamal and Venky in the same frame of the movie in the end.

Other departments:
Music by Sruthi Hassan is nice and it suited with the tone of the movie. Dialogues by Neelakanta are adequate though I expected more powerful and realistic ones from him. Manoj Soni's cinematography is good. The usage of RED camera seems to have worked for the movie. Movie is slick and sophisticated on the technical aspects. And Chakri should be commended for assembling the right work from the technicians. Editing is fast.

Movie Analysis:
Remaking a Hindi blockbuster featuring character actors with stars in Telugu/Tamil is always a risky proposition. A Wednesday worked purely on content with actors complementing it. By adding the stars to Telugu/Tamil version, the characterizations got changed. Hence the needed effect gets diluted. The plus points of the movie are Kamal Hassan, Venkatesh and technicians. The negative points are characterizations and script changes. Kamal Hassan and Venkatesh should be appreciated for doing this movie that has single costume, no songs and no romantic angle. Since I have seen the original and reviewed it too, I couldn't resist doing vital comparision. However, the fate of the Eenadu will depend on how people who haven't seen A Wednesday receive it.

Final View:
Kamal and Venkatesh acting together in a film and their star power is the major attraction with Eenadu but the film, on the whole, is okay. It lacks the ‘force’ and emotional basis to get connected with. For those who haven’t seen the original, Eenadu looks fresh and to those who have seen it doesn’t seem much exciting. It was an Average Movie.
