BIOGRAPHY :

Sonam Kapoor was born on June 9, 1985 in Chembur, Bombay, India in the Kapoor family, which consists of Punjabi-speaking dad, Anil, Sindhi-speaking mom, Sunita (nee Bhambhani), sister, Rhea and brother, Harshwardhana. She is the niece of film-maker Boney Kapoor, and actor, Sanjay Kapoor. The family has good connections within the Indian movie industry commonly known as Bollywood. Boney's wife is noted yesteryear film actress Sridevi. Her cousin, Arjun, Boney's son is an up and coming movie director. She completed her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir in Mumbai. Then She studied at the United World College of South East Asia to do her International Baccalaureate. Kapoor later graduated from the Bombay University with Political Science and Economics as her majors. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. She has received training in classical and Latin dance forms.
Before starting her career off as an actress, Kapoor worked as an assistant under Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and assisted him during the making of his film, Black (2005). She made her acting debut alongside newcomer Ranbir Kapoor in Bhansali's Saawariya (2007), which failed to do well at the box office. But she got good marks form critics on her performance . then she got offer in
2009, in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi-6 opposite Abhishek Bachchan. But The film received mix reviews by the critics but her performance was highly praised. As now she more concentrating on her up coming projects.

TELUGU BILLA MOVIE REVIEW:

Story :

Billa seems to be not worked for Prabhas and director meher ramesh . Billa (Prabhas) is an underworld mafia leader (Don) operating from Malaysia. Krishna Murthy (Krishnam Raju) is a cop(A.C.P) who is on the trail of Billa. Billa dies in an encounter with cops. Krishna Murthy keeps it as a secret and brings Billa’s look-alikes one Ranga from Vishakapatnam . Ranga – a petty thief onto the scene. The rest of the story is all about how Ranga completes the job for Krishna Murthy. This story was adapted from tamil Billa movie which was performed by Ajit. It is also adapted from N.T.R 1970 's Film "Yugander".

Artists Performance:
Prabhas is extremely stylish with well toned and highly muscular body in the role of the don. The blazers suited him really well. His second role as Ranga entertains us with the dialogue delivery he popularized with Bujjigadu film. His dance was good in the film.

Others:

Anushka and Namitha was played a glamorous roles in this film .Anushka. is good with slim figure and she is extremely hot in revealing dresses(BIKINI’S). She has no significant role to play in this film. Hansika Motwani did a special role and a special song in this film. she is good . Namitha entered in to Telugu film industry again with Billa. She is sexy and dubbed her own voice in Telugu. Krishnam Raju is adequate as the cop. Supreet is stylish. Kelly Dorji’s role is an extension of the one he donned in Nagarjuna’s Don. Rehman is competent in a vital role. Ali did a short, yet significant role. Jayasudha did a small role (she is the wife of a A.C.P).

Technical departments:

Story - screenplay - direction: only Prabhas role was highlights of the film. Billa’s story is based on Don film penned by Javed Akhtar. Screenplay of the film is excellent in the first half and the second half was done by director it was disappointing one. Director concentrated more on the styling in the first half. I think this can know only doing first half only.Though it is a 30 year old story, the director should have done modifications to it to make it more logical and convincing. The twists towards climax lack logic& too worst. Seems to be Director meher Ramesh more concentrates on prolonging the film.

Music and background score by Mani Sharma is average. Cinematography by Soundar Rajan is pretty good.The serious dialogues written for Prabhas in the first half (Can Can and other English dialogues) are not effective enough. Fights done by Stun Siva are efficient and stylish (especially superb chase sequence). Editing is excellent . Production values by Gopi Krishna Movies are excellent. The entire movie is mounted on a Big scale.

Critics Analysis: First half of the film is awesome . But Second half of the is little disappointing and is prolonged. The plus points of the film are Prabhas’s makeover and styling as Billa and good production values. On the story & screen play side, the second half should have been effectively handled. Director Meher Ramesh was not used Prabhas at his best. Hope somebody would make the best use of it the future. The bottom line of the film is Average .
