Andrea Jeremiah was born on December 21, 1984, is an Tamil playback singer, voice actor and a film and theatre actress. Beginning her career singing playback, Andrea has gone on to appear in critically acclaimed films such as Pachaikili Muthucharam and Aayirathil Oruvan, winning praise for her portrayals.

Early life:

Andrea was born as the eldest child into an Anglo-Indian nuclear family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu,on June 21, 1984. She was brought up in Chennai and graduated from the Women's Christian College. Her father is a lawyer at the High Court in Chennai, while her mother is a home-maker. She has one younger sister, who currently lives and works at Leuven, Belgium as a research assistant. From the age of 10, Andrea was part of a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing career. She was also a theatre artist in her college and appeared in several stage plays organised by Madras Players and EVAM. She also launched a company named The Show Must Go On (TSMGO Productions) to promote live art and artistes.

Film Career:

She later ventured into playback singing in feature films, too. After rendering a song in Gautham Menon's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu,she got an offer by the director to essay a lead female character in his next venture Pachaikili Muthucharam opposite R. Sarath Kumar, which she took up. Pachaikili Muthucharam was a film adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed,with Andrea portraying Kalyani, a homemaker, whose husband engages in an affair and is blackmailed. Andrea was selected for the role after noted actresses Simran, Shobana and Tabu were approached. She subsequently received more offers to star in films, but the only project she eventually signed was Selvaraghavan's fantasy-adventure film Aayirathil Oruvan,which released in early 2010. In 2011, she agreed to play a minor supporting role in Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha, which was released in late August 2011. She also rendered her voice for Taapsee Pannu in the 2011 movie Aadukalam.Her next movie with Nandha Durairaj in Thirupangal.

She will make her Malayalam debut opposite Mohanlal in film titled Grandmaster. During mid-October, reports confirmed that singer-actress Andrea Jeremiah had been signed on for a pivotal role in Vishwaroopam.

Saranya Mohan is an Indian film actress, who has acted in Malayalam and Tamil films. She is probably best known for her performances in Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu.



Early life:

Saranya was born on 20 February 1989 in Alappuzha, Kerala as the eldest daughter to Malayali parents Mohan and Devika, and has a younger sister named Sukanya.Her mother, Devika, is a trained classical dancer, who runs a dance school in Alappuzha, where Saranya herself also learnt dancing bharatanatyam. She studied at St. Joseph's College in Alappuzha, completing her B. A. degree in English literature.



Film Career:

She was brought to light by Malayalam director Fazil, who had seen Saranya dancing at her dancing school. After approaching and persuading her parents, he casted her for a child character in the 1997 Malayalam film Aniyathi Pravu and its Tamil remake, Kadhalukku Mariyadhai. Following two more roles as a child artiste, she took a break, concentrating on her studies,[5] before enacting a supporting role in another Fazil directorial, Oru Naal Oru Kanavu (2005), in which she acted as a sister to the male lead character.



Her subsequent release, the Dhanush-Nayantara starrer Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008), brought her into limelight. Her comedic performance as the younger sister to the lead female, who has a crush on her sister's love interest, won her fame and many accolades. She subsequently appeared in a number of Tamil films, which, however, were less successful. 2009, she had six releases, four of which being Tamil projects. Out of her Tamil releases, the tragedy sports film, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, directed by debutante Suseenthiran, and the supernatural thriller Eeram proved to be commercially as well as critically successful. Later that year, she made her Telugu debut with Village Lo Vinayakudu and made her comeback to Malayalam films, starring in Chemistry.

Vimala took part in a production by the renowned dancer C.V Chandrasekhar from India, “KREEDA” performing both in Canberra and Sydney. Vimala also had the honour of being invited to perform at the Ganesh Temple in New York, America, where she gave a full-fledged program to a complete and appreciative audience.

She went as part of a troupe of “Australian Indians” to perform in numerous places in Sri Lanka and also performed in many places in India, including the Music Academy in Chennai, Kalaimamani Awards (Chennai), Mahabalipuram Dance Festival, Chidambaram Shiva Temple and in the National College,Bangalore.

vimala ramanVimala was also offered and gave a program for one of the main T.V channels in Tamil Nadu India, JAYA TV. Her solo program “Salangai Oli”was broadcasted in February 2004 on JAYA TV. This successful program has seen increasing offers and opportunites for her internationally as a Bharthanatyam artiste.

Vimala furthers her learning in Chennai, India from a well-renowned dancer and dancer teacher, Smt. Roja Kannan, who is a disciple of Sri Adyar Lakshmanan (renowned artiste in India).Vimala has completed her degree in BSc Information Systems from the University of New South Wales. Along with her passion for being a Bharthanatyam Artiste, Vimala’s other hobbies include modelling assignments for many advertisments and promotions. Vimala also won the Miss India Australia 2004 title in October 2004. Having a strong background in classical dance has enabled Vimala the ability to also choreograph and perform fusion numbers. Incorporating both classical with western, Vimala has performed in many shows elucidating a fusion style dancing allowing east to meet the west.

Vimala Raman Film Career:

Her first movie was Poi, a Tamil film directed by Kailasam Balachander. Her first Malayalam movie was Time with Suresh Gopi. She paired with Ajmal Ameer in Pranayakalam in 2007. In the same year, she also appeared with Mammooty in Nasrani and with Dileep in Romeoo. She appeared in College Kumaran with Mohanlal and in Calcutta News with Dileep in 2008. Vimala Raman attended the Natanalaya Dance Academy based in Sydney, Australia. She studied dance under the tutelage of Jayalakshmi Kandiah.
In December 2010, Vimala will appear in Dam 999, an international movie directed by Sohan Roy.
